The app returns to Free capabilities. Your locally saved projects remain on your computer. Activate a paid Pro license to keep using premium editing tools and remove mandatory attribution.

After your payment is approved and your license is issued, enter the license key in the desktop app. Activation and license verification need access to the licensing service. Your account dashboard contains the available license information.

The device allowance depends on the license issued to you. Confirm the device count in the current offer or with support before purchasing; this website does not promise an unverified number of activations.

Contact support to confirm the migration requirements for your issued license, including the device allowance and whether the old activation must be released before moving. Do not assume an additional activation is included.

The existing checkout supports manual bank transfer with a payment-slip upload and review. Follow the checkout instructions and confirm the displayed LKR amount before transferring. Payment approval is not instant. Contact support for any other payment options.

VIDO Studio exports MP4 video up to 4K at 60 FPS and silent GIF up to 1440p at 30 FPS. Export settings do not prove that the source was recorded at that resolution or frame rate. Available performance depends on your computer and source media.

No. Manual Singlish-to-Sinhala typing is transliteration, not speech recognition or translation. Automatic captions send speech audio to Google Speech and need a network connection and available credentials. Review generated text before publishing.

No. VIDO Studio is a desktop screen recorder and editor. Windows and macOS packages are listed only when published links are available. Linux capture currently expects X11; a Linux download is not promised until a verified package is published.

No. The Yearly plan is billed annually, not monthly and not as an installment offer. The pricing page shows the approved total billing amount. Checkout is offered only when a matching backend plan is available.

VIDO Studio is a desktop screen recorder and editor for Windows, macOS, and Linux. This website provides product information, account access, downloads, and payment flows; it is not the desktop editing workspace. Use Downloads to see which actual builds are currently verified.

Allow screen recording when your operating system requests it. Microphone and camera permissions are needed only for those optional inputs. Select the intended devices in the app, check the preview, and test a short take. Permission labels vary by operating system; follow the published build's instructions.

Free records the primary display. Trial and Pro let you select another display for a take. This is single-display selection, not simultaneous recording of every monitor.

Yes. Use the countdown to prepare, pause and resume during a take, and stop when finished. Restart discards the current take, so use it only when you intend to begin again.

A microphone and webcam are optional inputs you can select before recording. System-audio capture is available on supported Windows and macOS configurations, subject to the platform and permissions. The current Linux capture path does not expose system audio.

No. Linux screen capture currently requires an X11 session. Wayland is not supported. Confirm your active session and available X11 login options before relying on the recorder.

A minimum must be verified against the specific published artifact. We do not turn a source package setting into a compatibility guarantee for a shipped installer. Check installation notes or ask support about your Mac and macOS version.

Yes. Import supported media and use the timeline to trim, split, arrange, style, and export it. Imported video does not acquire the click and typing history used by interaction-driven zoom suggestions. You can still add manual zoom regions.

Smart Auto Zoom proposes focus moments from captured interactions such as clicks and typing. You can review suggestions and adjust zoom regions, timing, focus, and animation. It is not a general model that understands arbitrary video content.

No. Auto Cutter is a Trial/Pro tool that analyzes audio locally and proposes cuts for quiet sections. Adjust the detection settings and review the proposed cuts before applying them. It does not recognize and remove filler words, mistakes, or repeated sentences.

No offline or unlimited service is promised. Generation sends audio to Google Speech and requires network access and configured credentials. Provider quotas and any charges are separate considerations. Review the generated text and timings before exporting.

Automatic generation requires a Google Speech API key configured in your installation. Exact setup screens have not yet been verified for the published installer. Ask support for instructions for your version before configuring a provider account. Keep API keys inside your desktop configuration; never enter them on this website or send them to support.

Yes. Manual cue editing and SRT import/export are separate from online speech generation. You can correct text and timing, split and merge cues, choose a visual style, and burn captions into the video. Estimated word highlighting is not a guarantee of word-perfect alignment.

Sinhala speech recognition uses a Google Speech language option and requires its service connection and credentials. A Sinhala font controls appearance. Manual Singlish-to-Sinhala typing provides transliteration. These are three distinct tools; transliteration is not translation, and a language option does not guarantee recognition accuracy.

Choose recording inputs carefully and review the entire exported file before sharing it. Do not rely on automatic detection to find every secret. Release-specific privacy controls have not yet been verified against the published installers.

AI Intro Beta requires paid Pro, is excluded from Trial, and needs a configured AI API key and network access. Provider usage charges are separate. Confirm the provider and setup for your installed release. Interaction-driven zooms and pause analysis are different capabilities, not interchangeable AI claims.

No. Recording and most editing stay on your computer, but Google Speech captions and AI Intro use network services. License verification and update checks also use the network. Desktop-first does not mean every feature works offline.

MP4 supports export up to 4K at 60 FPS, with frame-rate choices including 24, 25, 30, 50, and 60 FPS. Animated GIF supports up to 1440p at 30 FPS and has no audio. Higher settings cannot create detail or motion absent from the source. Export capability is not a claim that capture itself runs at the chosen export frame rate.

Yes. The canvas supports 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, and 3:4 with Fit, Fill & Follow, or Stretch. Queue multiple ratios to write separate files. This does not upload or publish them to social platforms.

No cloud project copy is promised. Recordings and projects are local, and projects reference source media on disk. Keep those files available and maintain your own backup. Autosave is useful, but it is not a guarantee against every crash, missing file, or disk failure.

We publish verified artifact links and show metadata only when available. A missing architecture, minimum OS, release date, size, or checksum is not filled with a guess. A source version or feature implementation alone does not prove the same behavior is present in every shipped artifact. Check release notes and ask about the build you intend to use.
