Before the first take
Use a published Windows build and check its architecture before opening it. Follow that artifact's installation instructions. Allow screen, microphone, or camera access when requested and only for inputs you intend to use.
System audio depends on the supported Windows configuration. Signing status, minimum OS, and architecture are not assumed when metadata is absent.
Choose a build compatible with your Mac's architecture. Enable screen-recording access in macOS settings when prompted, and allow microphone or camera access only if needed. Follow any system request to reopen the app after permission changes.
The minimum macOS version must be verified against the published artifact. A minimum found only in source configuration is not presented as a shipped-build guarantee. Do not bypass system security warnings on the strength of this page.
Screen capture requires an X11 session. Wayland is not supported. Check your session before recording; switch to an X11 session if your distribution offers one. Follow the installation instructions for the actual package you download.
The current Linux capture path does not expose system audio. A distribution list, package dependency set, and minimum system requirements are not claimed without verified release metadata.

Choose your display and optional microphone or webcam. Make a short test recording and export it before a longer session. Keep project files and their source media together; the desktop editor is not a cloud backup.
